Window clings are perfect for promoting your business or organization. They are easy to remove and reposition and they leave no adhesive residue on the surface. Window clings can be applied to glass surfaces inside of stores, offices, cars and appliances. For large surfaces we recommend spraying water on the on the glass prior to installation and use a squeegee to remove the air bubbles and water.

Window clings are window graphics that are printed on one-side and adhere to glass by static electricity. Recommended for indoor use only, they are perfect for great temporary promotions and are available in white or clear vinyl. To make your images and/or text really pop choose Clear Vinyl Printed 4 Color + White (working with white can be a little tricky so please follow our White Ink Guide before submitting your job).

  • Selecting viewed from “Behind Glass” (Images & Text needs to be reversed) means you can have the cling affixed to the inside of a window or other glass surface and viewable from the outside. These are perfect for stores displaying promotions to passers-by and churches, schools and other organizations who want to display their affiliation in a vehicle window.
  • Selecting viewed from the “Front of the Glass” (Images & Text needs to be right reading) means that the cling is viewable from the side it is placed on.  They are intended for temporary promotions on glass doors of beverage displays, retail counters or inside windows & mirrors so they are visible to customers already in your store or facility. Front of glass displays are also available in both clear and opaque white static cling vinyl.

File Specifications:

  • Full Bleed Size (Starting Document Size)
    • – The document should have an 1/8" bleed for best results
  • Acceptable File Types
    • – PDF (Recommended) (If using White please follow our White Ink Guide before submitting your job – Additional charges may apply if not set up correctly)
    • – Illustrator and Photoshop files are acceptable but they will not be viewable for online proof.   Prinveo is not liable for anything that is missing.
    • – InDesign files are not acceptable.   Please convert to a PDF and then upload.
  • Other Requirements
    • – Make sure that any guides are turned off.   Prinveo is not responsible for guides left on.
    • – Make sure all fonts are embedded or outlined if not embedded.
    • – Needs to be at least 300dpi for best results.
    • – All Colors should be converted to CMYK for best results.
    • – If Behind Glass is selected images & text needs to be reversed
    • – If Front of Glass is selected images & text needs to be right reading
    • – If using white ink please follow our White Ink Guide before submitting your job.
